Visiting the largest coffee plantation in Costa Rica will allow you to learn everything about the process related to cultivation, processing, and good practices, as well as your natural and cultural environment.
Seedling Station
Discover the step-by-step process of seed germination to the first crop of our plants. There you will observe and be explained the development process of the plant up to the point of recollection of the ripe grain. You will also learn about the history of the estate, its owners, the production and varieties of plants, the geography of the area, and the traditional ways of cultivating grain.
Coffee Plantation
Learn more about our production and the Vargas family, pioneers of the activity since 1940, harvesting times of the fruit, who perform important work, the type of crop, its characteristics, natural methods of crop protection, and how all these elements are combined to get a cup of high-quality coffee and a complete experience.
The unique experience of visiting the oldest Wet Mill in Costa Rica (UNESCO 2014) as well as its machinery of more than 120 years, will allow you to learn each of the stages of the process (separation of qualities, peeling, fermentation tanks, and drying off the beans).

Captivate your senses and discover the secrets behind our knowledge by feeling the aroma, texture, and taste of each of our Tres Generaciones Coffee tastes.
Once the Tour is over, we invite you to our Casa, where in addition to tasting the Tres Generaciones coffee and our famous chocolates with coffee, you will be able to buy liquors, local souvenirs, and art related to the experience.
